The 14-day window
If you have paid for a certification but have not started the exam, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked.
Once you have started
The moment you begin the certification exam, the fee is earned. Grading a certification — fresh questions plus AI-examined scenarios — is the service you paid for, and it happens whether the grade is high or low. For that reason, a started exam is not refundable, and a grade you are unhappy with is not grounds for a refund.
Refunds on issued certifications
If a certification has already been issued and listed on The Vanguard, requesting a refund flags it for review. Because a live credential carries public weight, an approved refund on an issued certification means the credential may be revoked and removed from the registry.
