What the link shows.

  1. Live verification

    The page reads the Emeri registry on every load, so it shows the credential as it stands now. A revoked credential says so in place of the badge. A scanned badge with an altered signature shows a warning.

  2. The grade and two reference points

    The band, E1 to E4. A percentile among Emeri-certified professionals, recalculated as the field grows. An estimate of standing across the broader workforce, labeled as an estimate.

  3. A six-skill profile

    How the candidate did on each skill the standard measures, from asking well to checking the output. It shows the shape of their skill, not only its level.

  4. The examiner’s note

    A short account of what the candidate’s work demonstrated, written from their own exam answers.

  5. Date and serial

    The assessment date and a permanent serial number.

What each band means.

Bands describe what someone at that level does with AI at work. Every band is an earned credential. A sitting below E1 receives no band at all.

  1. E1 · Foundational

    Can get useful results from AI on familiar tasks with clear instructions, but leans on it without always checking the work. Foundational, and a real starting point.

  2. E2 · Proficient

    Works with AI reliably across everyday tasks — asks well, catches obvious errors, and produces work that stands on its own. The proficient professional standard.

  3. E3 · Distinguished

    Uses AI with judgment and range: combines tools, handles ambiguity, verifies what matters, and delivers work that raises the bar. Distinguished.

  4. E4 · Exceptional

    Sets the standard others learn from. Fluent across every competency, deliberate about where AI helps and where it does not, and consistently excellent under pressure. Exceptional.

Why you can trust the grade

Certification is one timed sitting per purchase. Questions are drawn fresh from larger pools. Written scenarios are graded against rubrics that people wrote, applied the same way to every candidate. A certified grade cannot be retaken on the same payment to try for a higher band.

What a grade does not tell you

A credential states how well this person worked with AI on the day they were assessed, against a standard that is the same for everyone. It does not measure their domain expertise, their job performance, or their fit for your role. Those judgments stay yours.
