Find the decision inside the brief

Start with a real decision.

The brief · fictional workplace example

Elena, an operations coordinator at fictional Alder Studio, receives this brief: “Tell customers about the new booking process. Make it positive.” Notes: the new form starts November 12; existing bookings stay valid; customers must use a booking reference; phone booking remains available. The support number has not been confirmed.

The starting point

“We’re excited to announce a seamless new experience. Please contact our dedicated team for assistance.”

Check your judgment

Pause. What would you do?

Which question must Elena resolve before publishing a notice that says “call us”?

Try a choice first. A wrong answer is useful practice.
